Frequently asked questions
"I don't have room for one more appointment."
You already made room. You make it every few days, indefinitely, and it never shows up on a calendar because it never asked permission.
This is the only version of that math where you get hours back instead of replacing them.
"It's expensive."
Compared to what? The conventional cycle repeats a dozen times a year — money and time that do not come back. This has an end. The question is not what a treatment costs. It is what staying exactly where you are has already cost you.
"Does it hurt?"
There is discomfort, and it varies by area and by person. The equipment has a cooling system, and your evaluation sets the intensity for your skin tone and the thickness of your hair.
Nobody here is going to tell you that you will not feel a thing. We do not do that.
"I did this before and the hair came back."
A one-size protocol is usually the reason. Without reading your skin tone, the thickness of your hair, and your history, the settings are wrong for your case from the start.
Essence does not work from a single package. That is the whole difference, and it is the only promise we will make you.
"Does it work on my skin and my hair?"
That is exactly why the evaluation comes before the protocol. Two wavelengths — Alexandrite and Nd:YAG — exist to cover different skin tones safely, including deeper tones and sensitive skin.
"My hair is going white. Does it still work?"
It acts on the pigment in the hair, so on white hair the response is limited. Your evaluation will tell you honestly what to expect in your case — including when the answer is that it is not worth it.

Andreia Marchetto has been in aesthetics since 2012. Two certifications on the Candela GentleMax Pro Plus — the second one on its DCD cooling system — and 320 hours of electrolysis and laser training. In January 2026, a specialization in Asian facial aesthetics.
She still goes to the Candela trainings in Miami, Clearwater, St. Pete and Orlando. Not because a certificate expires, but because the person holding the handpiece is the part no equipment spec can tell you about.
